There are many aspects in no limits poker and the cards you have is just one of them. Good player takes considers, before making a decision, all the elements of the hand. Here is the most important ones:

• What is the tournament status?
• How many players are playing against me?
• Who are these players?
• What are my stack comparing with blinds and ante?
• What are the other players’ stacks?
• Where am I sitting comparing to tight and aggressive players?
• What have the bets been made before?
• How many active players there are, providing I’m quitting?
• What is the pot profit?
• What is my situation on the board after the flop?
• What do the cards I have?

It may seems that you have to think hard about so many things befor making up you mind. And it’s true! That’s why playing good enough no limit holdem is so hard and so profitable.
